I finally got the newly shimmed reg set hooked up to a tank yesterday and IP is up to 142. I'm declaring victory.

See @Entropyman 's post numbers 18, 48, 51 in this very thread for the DIY answer.

Basically shims from McMaster-Carr McMaster-Carr (98090A300) with the OD sanded down a few thousands of an inch. (0.06)

I turn my own using acetal. I can make any shim you want.

When I make them...
1 @ minimal thickness
1 @ minimal thickness x2
1 @ minimal thickness x3
No need to stack.

I just received and fit checked @SubseaSports shims and I'm happy to report they are perfect. Note: They were custom made for the MK10 but should fit the MK5/6/7/8/9/10.
