I figured you would get some antique light from circa 1940 to match your Conshelf reg.
FYI: Iris' reg is a conshelf as well. Why the change in Avatar??!?!?!?!

I'm so jealous of you guys going...

!

aw come on! That was a classic avatar! the changing of the world is inevitabre! Jesus Christ, open your ******* ears!!!! haha...

next time I see Iris' reg I'll take a shot of it. But it doesn't have the bad @ss red Calypso on it!

edit: just checked, you can see it in my profile pic (click on my homepage for a larger view).

Unless Iris is diving a conshelf circa 1960, I don't think its gonna look like this vintage one that Larry has...

I'll put on some soothing Bee Gees muzak in the background to put you to sleep.

ooh, a new HID? I figured you would get some antique light from circa 1940 to match your Conshelf reg.

edit: yes count me in on the 5 dives per day
Same here 5 dives/day.

ya, I'm not sure what year it was manufactured but it's definitely not circa 1960 vintage. I think I'll take advatage of the lab here and just carbon date it. :)

Probably true - I actually serviced that one (in the pics) and dived it with two 1954 and 1957 wrist depth gauges during my PG trip. One gauge only goes to 100fsw, but was within 1 fsw of my computer. The other goes to (count 'em) 260fsw, and was also +/- 1 fsw of the computer at 160 fsw. Don't make 'em like they used to...

I have photo's to prove which I'll post tomorrow when I get back home.

Bloody work computers have no built in CD reader / writers, disabled USB ports etc etc all in the name of 'security'. Meanwhile, I can upload 2Gb of sensitive commercial info and send to anyone with a gmail account - go figure...

Cheers

Off topic again AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH that feels better...

New email from Phil Mcguire of Sogod Bay Dive Resort -

Both our shore and boat dives are $20US a dive. The 3rd boat dive is $18 US same goes for shore dives. Sorry about the mix up. We have a small runabout boat if some divers want to go somewhere else same price. We have 3 dive masters.

We will require a deposit of 25% of dives and accommodation and will need as soon as possible. As I mentioned in my txt it is a very busy time of year we are a small operation and need to have deposit to secure your booking we already have bookings in Novemeber and Decemeber. We will require full names of divers and how many dives they want to do also arrival and departure dates. We can arrange transport from Tacloban.

Hope this helps

Look forward to meeting you

Kind regards

Phil McGuire

Guys we need to make a decision, which resort?

I'd vote for SBDR, since their rates are cheaper. However, I do have a concern about their small boat, that might be a factor.
