Ben_ca showed me his HID and I must say I was drooling (certified equipment junkie, I am). But, must get long hose first. Since the third dive is cheaper, I'll probably join you on the 3rd dives.

Amen to that. When it's all settled, just let me know how to get the money to you.

Not sure who'll join me, but I plan to do 3-4 dives / day + maybe a night dive to play with the HID I hope to have stolen by then. Excessive diving + 3-4 cold SMBs = good sleep for Larry:D

I'll put on some soothing Bee Gees muzak in the background to put you to sleep.

ooh, a new HID? I figured you would get some antique light from circa 1940 to match your Conshelf reg.

edit: yes count me in on the 5 dives per day

Pakman,

I was just going through the "introduce - let's get to know the PPDers" thread when I saw the following...

pakman:
OK I'm not living in the Philippines but I'm just a hop away (HK) and I'll likely be coming out here often over the next few years for diving (scuba that is :p). Already been diving twice in the PI this year. So just put me down as a "Philippine Paradise Diver" wannabe...

Name: Mike
Age: 37
Occupation: Mild manner banker by weekday... scuba junkie on any given long weekend (or heck anydays I can sneak away from the office and catch a flight...)
Certification: PADI: AOW and Nitrox
Favorite Sites: Coron Wrecks, USS New York (subic), Canyons (PG)
Dream Dives: Truk, Galapagos, and the Sardine Run (South Africa) and one of these days I'll get to see a whale shark...
Equipment: Mares V16 Proton, Zeagle Stiletto BC, Suunto mosquito, and a compact p/s camera that's recently grown antlers....

Look under "Dream Dives". With a bit of luck, I'll be seeing them with you...

BTW, I will now have to be ejected from Barangay Pasaway for bringing a thread back on topic.:D

Larry, you're like one of those guys at the "Make a Wish" Foundation for terminally ill children like me... thanks... you're the best... I've always wanted to see a whale shark... [wiping a tear from underneath my thick heavy north korean glasses]

clgsamson:
Oh oh...he's now goin to nuke us!

naw, I've just got this warm n fuzzy feeling inside and wanna give you a big bear hug... now if we don't see any whale sharks in Dec... :devil_2:
