I saw those 1800 paint ball ones but they seem to have a new-fangled seat that I wasn't sure would work on a scuba valve. Are they compatible?
Paintball burst discs will fit, but the seat is different and when used in a scuba valve will pop at about 1700 PSI. Scares the **** out of the tank filler. I checked on few years ago.
I ended up using ones made for 2050 service pressure (closest I could find).

and punch out washers from plastic scrap from bottles

Like pop bottle material?

What pressure does it hold before letting go? I would imagine temp plays a part.....

Fun fact.
pop bottles hold 150 psi.... it deforms the bottoms, but it does hold...
