hey, off-topic for a sec. I would love to be a vegetarian, BTW. Won't bore you with the reasons. But anyway....I have been noticing, some of them don't look too good. We did a charter a couple years ago, and about fifteen vegetarian society people showed up. Their necks were all crooked. Their necks were jutted out in front of their bodies. They looked weak and pale. So then, I started paying attention in the vegetarian places where I shop, "Down to Earth" (I call it Down to Dirt") Anyway, the people in there do not look healthy. I hate to say it, but that is what I see. The only thing I have been able to come up with is that maybe pacifists do not have good posture...
I've noticed the same thing. Coincidence? I think not.

Isn't that how all of us learnt to hunt, my dad taught me about hunting when I was a wee-man...
the most important lessons: never kill what you cant eat or use, and use as much of the animal as possible, do not waste...:D

Awesome pic, most of my best childhood memories involve fishing with my grandfather and father.

mmmmmmmmMMMMMMmmmmmm... juicy steak...

and yes, it's our duty to teach kids to respect the animals and plants we have to kill to sustain ourselves and where food comes from. If we dont, they will think that steak comes from supermarkets and will be disconected from reality... like so many today... We have to respect the earth.

Animal abuse is bad. Kids, don't play with your food.

I watched the PETA video. I've seen it a few times.

By all accounts, this video is video of an illegal fur farm in a third world country of unknown origin, possibly China. The practices shown in this video are very, very illegal in virtually every country on earth.

My biggest problem with the video is that it gives the impression that this is where fur comes from. The video is, basically, a bit lie. Reminds me of Bowling for Columbine's Charleton Heston speech.

This is extremely counterproductive. Actions such as releasing this video as they have turn me - someone who is sympathetic towards animal rights and would never buy a piece of fur - into an enemy of PETA. Their disregard for reason, coupled with their abject disregard for the sanctity of human life, make them an organization that gets no support or sympathy from me.

I do donate to my local animal shelter, and I do try to buy products that do not come from tortured animals, but I do not support organizations who place animals on a higher pedestal than human life and constantly and directly insult my intelligence as well as my body, my family, and my friends.
