Yeah, I was going to ask if anyone is brave enough to answer that one. I've never seen one but I think someone who replied earlier to this thread has seen one or has one...

I've seen them a few times, though I'm pretty sure no one one in this thread has one. Interesting to see in person, and in use, but it's not for me as I don't dive that way.

A butt ring is the d-ring that hangs off a hogarthian rig's harness at the back of the waist strap. It's an out of the way hanger for less often used equipment like reels.

What were you two thinking?
