To any experienced SE Asia diver or Mares or Atomic manufacturer:
Where is the right place to service Mares or Atomic regulators in SE Asia?
I own a few Mares MR12/Proton regs and also an Atomic B2. Whilst these regs are still performing well in my warm Indonesian waters, its time for service and thats where I have questions. In one case the advertised Jakarta Indonesia dealer is now an empty house and in the other case, no one I know has actually ever used the dealer for service, however, they warn that they would be reluctant to try. So, what to do?
What Im seeking is routine service by a manufacturer trained tech using legitimate parts. Can anyone suggest where in SE Asia I will find this?
Im quite happy with my equipment and I am glad I bought it, but there is one thing I am beginning to learn it seems to me that in SE Asia at least, there are many shops fluent in ScubaPro products and service, but after that, it thins out.
