Here a pic of a dude, you can see the crease at his waist. Without this extra fabric how would he pull his suit up to get his head in the hole or back out? It would be too tight.

Just imagine if you sewed your sweatshirt to your pants right now and then cut a small slit in the front. When you got to climb out you would either need extra stretch (which we don't have) or more fabric.

And don't forget to inhale after you exhale...
..You put your left foot in. You take your left foot out You put your left foot in and you shake it all about. You do the hokey pokey....that's what it's all about!:)

Thank you. That all makes sense.
All good.. it would have made a lot more sense after the 1st few times getting in and out of the suit. Just take it slow and don't force anything, you'll figure it out.

And save your money... go find a pool to practice in. Or better yet come over this way and I'll take you diving ~ it's 5 min of talking about it and then a lifetime of practice to get good at it.

For the drysuit pros out there: Does the p-valve hose has to be a norprene tube? Why can't we use regular silicone tubing?

Annnnd.... done. 150-gr undersuit ordered. :)
Please tell me how the undersuit performed for valve drills :)
