I got a dive in on Sat in the Seaskin. 39f, 82 min. Few things. 1st of, I got cold last Wed with just my marino base and 4e Arctics on so this time I tried marino base, 4e top and seaskin 250 over. I think with all that bulk I'd have to change my weighting around a little as it felt off. On the warm side of things if anything I was HOT for the 1st 10 min or so. Boyancy was off so I probably won't do that again, pretty hard to manage the bubble and felt light at ~ 15' at the end with 2200 psi left, which I really shouldn't at all.

Might just try the 250 and see what happens. I've never been a huge fan of the thinsulate because of all the air you need to fluff it up. The 4e feel perfect as they're dense but there not enough for a leisure dive when it's this cold ... so I don't know, just trying different things.

Also had an issue with my Rolock 90's feeling tight. I put them on twice and they weren't in the right spot so I took them off, popped the ring out and rotated. Well each time I was putting them back on I was rotating the suit ring trying to turn them. Anyway, I just now wiped them down 100% and gave them a fresh coat of lube and all feels much better now (I think that was suggested by @lexvil ?)

I knew it was going to take 10 or 20 dives to get used to.... just growing pains. Just sharing my experience to hopefully help the next diver out.

Cheers.

I asked Seaskin when they will ship out the base layer order I placed with them. Their answer:

"We are sorry but we can’t send out International posts out due to Royal Mail has Cyber incident(hacked International post department),expecting to be sort out in this week."

Weird.

Everything requiring customs declaration still cannot be shipped. It's a Royal mess at the Royal Mail...

You deserve it for not buying American!!! @stuartv is to blame for it.

:p

For the price difference he could fly to the UK, spend a few days site seeing pick it up and fly home and still have money leftover.
Everyone is on strike there, you will be stuck for a very long time in the UK. That ain't worth it. The UK is SOOOOO expensive especially these days, you won't be able to afford it. My family lives there, cost of living is getting out of hand.

Ok, just flyover, pick them up and fly home, even more $$$$ in the pocket.

They had strikes in their transportation system, I think even airports. Terrible times there. It isn't good times in Europe right now, seriously.

Does anyone dive their Seaskin in frigid waters? Like mid 30's?

I keep going over my dive Sat and while I was warm, I couldn't move. *I have not tried just the 250 by itself, so maybe I'll do that before anything else. I was also thinking maybe getting a thicker set of marino base layer to wear under the arctics. I wear a 120 (I think) now, but maybe a set of 360's or whatever with the arctics might work?

I know heated is an option, but I'd like to not do that just yet. Does anyone have any recommendations? I try to stay away from thisulate, it's just so bulky, which is why I'm trying to do something besides the undergarment that I got with the suit.

It never ends, lol
