Not sure how much they are.... If I remember correctly, they were the same price as their 200 bar when they had them before. Somewhere around $170. The e-mail I got said that they just received the shipment that day so they probably won't have them back on the web for a few days. Since I'm over here, I have to call them to order anything anyway. :(

They got them up on the website. Do a search for manifold and you will find the 200 and 300 bar versions. Now I just need a couple more tanks :) Oh, and $170... :(

WreckWriter once bubbled...

Some differences in the isolator housing but not much. I have to say you're right on this, my imagination............

Tom,
Unless there has been a very recent change, the DS and Halcyon manifols are the same. They come from Asia in the same box. If this has changed, it is very recently.

divers Supply took the Italian manifold sold by Dive rite to the Asians and asked them to copy it. They did, and made it better. The valves are smoother, and the machining is of much higher quality.

Halcyon put Sherwood knobs on the manifolds they got. Divers Supply had the Asians change to a similar knob. The first batch of these was bad, and both Halcyon and DS had to replace a lot of knobs. Halcyon went back to the Sherwood. The Asian have fixed the knob problem, and the manifolds now come from DS with the nice rubber knobs.

The new word is that the Halcyon and Sea-Elite are not the same, at least not any more.

I was at my LDS last night putting my doubles together with a couple of the techs and one of them decided to take the manifold apart and compare it to the Halcyon which he went and got from the stock room. They look simular but not the same. It takes 1.5 turns to open and or close the valves on my new Sea-Elite and 2.5 on the Halcyon because the unit (sorry don't know the terms) that the knob opens and closes is much longer in the Sea-Elite.

Maybe the more tech minded people can weight in and explain what I am trying to say better.

Chad

Interesting, my Halcyon is only about 1 1/2 turns to open or close. Actually I think it's more like 1 1/4 turn. I don't like the one you need to turn all day to get closed.
