Hi! I'm curious why you spent so much time underwater and then had to kick to the surface after your giant stride? I was taught to fully inflate my BC in a giant stride, and just pop to the surface immediately. Seems like it would be dangerous to spend time below surface in case something went wrong with the entry.

I had air in my BC, but not enough... we were shooting for a "quick ok" and fast drop... but then the wave action was really rough too, those 6 footers will come along and push you right back down.... fully inflated or not.
