What's the overall length on those ?
About 37" +- 1/4" end to end length. There is a PG7 gland on it and the cable is rEvo specific. I don't know how you'd use it on a Meg, but you could remove the gland very carefully.

Why would you want SPGs though? Horrid things that get in the way, aren’t that accurate to read and don’t log your gas usage. Just use a 50cm HP hose on a Mini and route the transmitters under the tray.
 
@Wibble, if your SPGs get in the way, there is room for optimization. I have SPGs on my Meg and rEvo - there are zero issues with properly selected hose lengths and routing. Transmitters are nice and expensive. Four transmitters will run me $1.6K and I am not in the mood of replacing the transmitters every time I grab a different rebreather. All my rigs are "grab and go"; always ready for diving!
 
Both my Revo SPGs had their hoses broken probably as the unit was put down on top of the very long hoses. These SPG hoses were just long enough that the SPGs would dangle under the unit, just where the stand will bend the hoses close to the gauge.

It’s a personal thing, but I like the AI transmitters neatly tucked underneath the top tray, protected from wrecks and from me. I don’t need an analogue dial as I have the digital info on the NERD; would also read this on a Petrel3 if I had one, or a Perdix2, which I don’t have either (have a Perdix v1)

If one or both transmitters went titsup I’d know approximately how much gas is available and would (probably) continue the dive conscious that I might need to use offboard gas feeds should I run out of gas for the first time in my life. Dil issues may require a bailout hose to be connected to the wing.


As an aside, I’m very seriously considering switching the 2 litre drysuit cylinder for a 3 litre cylinder and then running both the drysuit and wing off of it. Air’s a lot cheaper than diluent. I would definitely put a third transmitter on the unit to monitor the gas levels on this cylinder. Those Shearwater Swift transmitters are expensive!!! Would keep the wing inflate hose in situ should I need to switch back to using diluent for wing gas.

hmm i wouldn't feel happy having my buoyancy system on one supply -if you had an emergency you simply wouldnt have time to reconnect it back

Have drysuit as well.

Typical dives use considerably less than the gas I carry for the drysuit inflate (a 2 litre steel cylinder) — I normally top it off every other dive (typically MOD2 sea profiles) as I don’t like jumping in with less than half capacity. The diluent use isn’t great, but I’d like to stop wasting the expensive gas allowing less frequent topping off, especially if doing a week’s worth of diving.

Have only ever depleted a drysuit inflation cylinder once many years ago when diving in a deep quarry practicing OC ascents and using one of those baby inflation cylinders beloved of DIR. Since moving to CCR, always use the 2 litre and have a fallback of whatever’s in the two bailout cylinders (if deep, then would use 50%).

Until I fork out gold for a Swift transmitter so I can see the pressure, I’m not making the move to have both drysuit and wing on the same source.
