It's just about time to retire the first wetsuit I bought which was a crappy $50 7mm farmer john from my LDS. My question is, what do you do with a dead wetsuit? I was thinking about cutting some of it up and saving the pieces as neoprene patches. Do you have to do anything to the patches before you use them like burn the edges? Any other ideas as to what to do with the suit? Thanks!

Maybe there is a wetsuit grave yard for all who have wetsuits that are past there prime can give them a proper burial. May all wetsuits rest in peace. OR,,, knee pads, elbow pads, shin pads, nurf frisbee, cut it up as a tension release, boxing gloves(maybe), kick boxing pads, shin pads the list could be endless.
