I can confirm that at least as of 10:37am on 1/16/2023 that @The Chairman was in fact alive as I helped him replace his refrigerator while watching a tray for a tray being printed. That said, it could well be an imposter posing as the Chairman formerly known as Netdoc at 5:35pm when the OP happened however that is highly unlikely
So are the mods going to deny my name change request to The Chairman now?

Hope no one is offended at a little levity. There's no comfort in the pain of cancer. Lost a friend at the age of 40 where the third time at cancer killed her. Lost another friend at 50. It isn't easy, but the strength I've seen in these people who accept their fate and try to enjoy their last days as much as humanly possible shows how powerful a person can be.

Sorry for your loss Pete. May her memory be eternal.

Pete, I don't know what to say other than you are a great brother. I think at our age most of us have been in this situation to one degree or another. Just hang in there. I recall when my day died of cancer (1971, age 55) and my mom from a different mess of illness (2000). In both cases their passing was a blessing.

Pete, I’m so sorry that your sister and you are going through this. You are being an amazing brother and I’m sure she is grateful that you are there for her.

As a survivor, I know it's the people surrounding you that make all the difference in dealing with the constant torture.

She's lucky to have you. I wish you continued strength and humor.

Sorry to hear this, it certainly brings you back to earth when you have to care for a family member like this. My thoughts are with you and your sister.

Pete, sorry to hear of this situation. You are one heck of a brother to give so much care to your sister. It may sound like crap, but she will shortly not be in pain, no longer suffering. Sending good thoughts and prayers to you both

It's seems you've done all that could be done, try to remember her as she lived this life, not as she departs it.

@The Chairman
Sorry to hear about your sister. Sister and I went through this with mom for almost eight (8) years including hospice, but hers was dementia and Alzheimer. God Bless you and your family Peter !
