I have product made in the US, Taiwan, Italy, Thailand and China (the last being my smallest country source) By the way, some of the brands you mentioned use the same sources I do on lots of stuff, including regs.
Interestingly, 89 percent of Hondas sold in the USA are made in North American plants. I didnt know that one, just looked it up.

Who from my list buys a regulator from the same source as you and sells it as a poseidon, halcyon, aqua lung or scuba pro regulator?

Your list shrank... LOL

Your reading skills suck BTW. I did not state they bought regs from the same source. However..., Atomic buys parts they use in regs from the same source I have regs made. Poseidon and SP and I share quite a few vendors for quite a few parts and completely assembled and produced product.

You want to know more put in a resume with a brand and get some experience working that side of this industry.

Assembled in american plants I believe is the wording you are looking for, look closer at where all the components are made. Automobile components are made all over the world and just a very small fraction come from the US. A couple of years ago GM had a TSB that came out saying that as part of the pre delivery inspection we needed to remove the "made in china" tags from the keyfobs (maybe HowardE was not talking about keyfobs). They stated that they were not legally required to disclose the country of origin for parts sold with a new vehicle. Yes I do find this sad, but it is what it is.

There is a reg brand that is made within 2 feet of my products, virtually every part is made and mostly assembled there, yet they call them US made.. It's complete and utter crap.

By the way, you guys do know I am breaking the "rules" by discussing this stuff... I won't be invited to any black tie events at DEMA now...oh well I have my own bash on Thursday night at Hogs & Heifers Saloon®. Free beer and snacks for all that come!

If I was a dive professional I would be at DEMA. If I was at DEMA I would be at your party in a heart beat.

The real funny part of this whole thread is we are arguing through devices made in the very countrys that are being condemned here:confused:.

I think the bottom line here is that Edge/HOG provides an excellent product at a great value and some people don't like this. Now look at who these "people that don't like this" are and where there interests lie.
