I will also endorse the comfo bite fit. I found that Sea Cure (older generation, I have not tried the newer design which came out about a year ago which has a better air flow design) to be able to take away the jaw fatigue that I found with Scubapro regs.

Some people also put the comfo-bite on upside down and like it even better.

Also I have found Sherwood regs have a good fit, at least for me.

+1 on the Comfo bite over Sea Cure..... I have them both and I have the same experience with the Comfo Bite as Slonda.

The comfo bite mouthpiece (to second Colliam) is a great mouthpiece. You can leave your jaw loose, and the roof guard just sort of lets it hang there. It is the most comfortable mouthpiece that I have ever used, though admittedly I have never used a Seacure. Half of my regulators cost me 20 bucks so there is no way in the world I am paying that much for a dog-gone mouthpiece

...no worries, I don't think a SeaCure will fit on a doublehose reg anyway.... :)

Correct! I also have every US Divers single hose regulator from 1959 to 1975 though, and those all get comfobites. I forget where I bought them...I think divegearexpress has a good price on them and you can get them in bulk so you can have spares. I bet those seacures are great, they were designed by a doctor, I'm just a cheap date :)

I love my seacure. I bite down hard on my mouthpieces but the seacure is great.

Comfo bite for me seems to work. But I do like my original Poseidon mounth piece.

reefraff,

Just saw their website. Wow, very different approach but the price is amazingly high.

Regards.

Manta Bite, a Revolutionary Scuba Mouthpiece :: Dive with a Manta :: Manta-bite.com

Manta-bites are unusual. There are no bite wings to chomp down on and some people never get used to that. For those that do, having a mouthpiece that puts no strain on your jaw (did I mention you don't bite down on it?) and won't accidentally fall out of your mouth even if you're toxing is pretty much da bomb.

Melflex hose with a comfort bite mouth piece, simple as that. Sometimes I have to breath just to know its still in my mouth. Oh and thats with a metal reg.
