Tried another mouthpiece, don't remember which one, still not comfortable.

Had to clamp down when I turned my head with the rubber hose.
Put a flex hose on my primary, problem solved.
Was going to a swivel if that didn't work, but happy so far.

FWIW my fixed 70-degree swivel doesn't do anything for turning the head. Maybe an omni would work, but I think the plane in which I turn my head is not the plane in which a swivel swivels.

This is sports equipment *and* goes in your mouth. Your poll results can tell you where to start, but you could wind up somewhere completely different. Fair warning.

...t you could wind up somewhere completely different. Fair warning.

I've been to the Interwebs before, it won't be entirely unexpected. ;)

If it's not Apeks-Aqualung its not Comfobite

Mine hang, from the back of the teeth, jaw unclenched, sealing lightly against the lips

Unless I'm fighting tigers, where I apply a few thousand psis to the nubs until finished

Which is the way a few of you have described biting the mouthpiece leading to issues

I use JAX on my main AQL regulator since several years. ( MARES JAX on Amazon ) . Perfect , i can dive long time within mouth 's fatigue.

Easy configuration, you can having different color to recognised differents regulators for bail out cylinders

Love my SeaCure. But if I go GUE/TDI long hose primary donate, I need to give it up. Then I’ll look at OEM Aqualung/Apeks Comfo-bite.

I prefer longbites, but I dive my wife’s Apeks from time to time and the comfobite works fine. It does make the gums behind my upper front teeth a bit sore after a couple of dives, but I’m sure I would get used to it after a while. All IMHO, YMMV.

I am on "streamlined OW" primary donate too, but if "they" run out of gas and need my reg, they can suck it up and put up with my mouthpiece. That may not be a GUE-compliant attitude but I think it's only fair.
