before buying new equipment please read the thread "dumped on by diving companies again" about how Dacor/Mares is not supporting their products .....

DA Aquamaster:
Some shops still have parts for older Dacor regs, but when they are gone, they are gone.

At this point Dacor has discontinued parts for all their numbered first stages as well as for the Enduro first stage.

I have this sinking suspicion that Mares does not plan to make a new production run of annual service kits for any Dacor regs that are not currently produced. If so, the list of unsupported regs will continue to grow.

If you have an older Dacor reg, get it serviced now and buy an extra annual service kit for the first and second stages if you can find a shop that will sell them to you.
GOOD NEWS for all owners of older Dacor regulators ... Mares/Dacor have responded to our problem of not finding parts for service on the older regulators..... No they are not going to make more parts but have started a trade in program to replace any Dacor regulator made before 2ooo with a current model from Mares/Dacor. There are 4 models offered in this "trade up" program (including the Mares Abyss). to find our more go to www.scubaboard.com/t110024.html for more information
