My family and Brian (Novafury) are staying there again. We have one of the efficiency's over looking the ocean this time.

Grier - bring the family along. Don't feel shy to include them in an event like this... some of us would love to meet them after hearing about them for sooo long!!

I am also trying to get the wife to go and bring the kids. She is a non-diver, non-boat ride (major motion sickness) lady but she really enjoys the beach. Most likely she won't go though.

Called Force-E's Ft. Lauderdale Dive Center in Pompano.
They said they're open til 7pm on Saturday and can process all our tanks in an hour.
Air is $4.50, Nitrox is $9
(if we do 25 or more at once, it's $3 for air, $8 for Nitrox)

For anyone else on a budget, and not spending 3 nites there, what have you found?
I found the Wellesley in Pompano for around $70.
I found the Ramada Inn in Deerfield Beach for around $46.
(Very close to the LadyGoDiver boat charter.)

Have to double-check if those are valid for the Holiday weekend.
Should be - their websites say so.

And speaking of the boat, at their website, if you click on Lodging, they mention some specials they have with local hotels, including dive packages.
I think it says the Comfort Inn/Quality Suites is around $45.

Oh, and I called the boat to confirm whether it was a 1 or 2-tank dive on Sunday for $40. They said I better check my numbers, "our 2-tank dives are $45."
So are we getting some kinda deal through OceanWatch that they weren't aware of?

I received a very friendly email stating that they couldn't accept credit cards and that she looked forward to meeting me. Can't speak for the rest of ya!

I used them all the time and pay $3 per fill ($36 for 12 fills). I’m sure that they can handle 20 tanks as long as we tell them in advance and show up earlier.

Hi, guys. I am looking forward to meeting you. I mailed the Check this Monday, just wanted to let you know. Please let me know when you recieve the check. For all the non-divers, please come, my wife (who doesn't dive) and my son will be there. If anyone wants to get together and BBQ, let me know, I would love to help out with the food.
