To Cbulla or Rose,

Just one more thing, is the $40 all inclusive or is there an additional charge for the boat dive on Sun?

We were just wondering the same thing. Is the boat $45 and the class $40? Still no word from Villamar, we want to do the same thing as ya'll Colin, I'm thinking we'll have to do Friday since check-in on Sat. wouldn't be until 2pm, since ya'll are gonna try and stay the entire weekend, we're going to try as well. (Oceanfront mini is what we're trying to reserve)

Has anyone heard back from her?

I know several people (including myself) who've emailed and called and haven't heard from her yet.

She, like everyone else for OWF, is a Volunteer and may not be around to much if she's busy. I think she's out of town this week visiting family in CA.

To Cbulla or Rose,

Hi, guys. I am looking forward to meeting you. I mailed the Check this Monday, just wanted to let you know. Please let me know when you recieve the check. For all the non-divers, please come, my wife (who doesn't dive) and my son will be there. If anyone wants to get together and BBQ, let me know, I would love to help out with the food. Just one more thing, is the $40 all inclusive or is there an additional charge for the boat dive on Sun? Looking forward to meeting everyone. Be safe, Karim1

$40 covers the class and boat dives. You supply your own air. :D

My wife and son will be there to. We're/She's preg again and can't dive, so there will definitely be company.

We will talk BBQ on Sunday once we're there. We did that before and it worked out fine. Our lady of sausage made great salsa burger patties, we had a slew of plain burgers, hot dogs, and even keilbasa.

Awesome Colin, thanks for all your help. We're all booked with the mob for the weekend. Those 5 rooms weren't from the SB, the guy got it wrong they were just all one family taking up the 5 rooms. Can't wait to see everyone, I might even taste a roach if its cooked on the grill this time ;) (I'm bring the stamp, you bring the fire)

- got my room reservations where Karim's staying, at ramada inn (deerfield), a couple of miles from the LadyGoDiver ($48).
- got my dog boarding reservations
- sent the check to rose today
- reserving our rental gear (and ordering a new computer) tomorrow

Anyone have directions to "the Boulders"?
(where to park, etc)

can't wait.
thanks colin

Going to have to back out of this one.

$270 for the hotel (90 per night hotel x 3 nights)
$40 for the dive (not a bad price at all)
$35 in gas for the weekend
other expenses

and I have to get books and tuition for two college students between now and then.

Love to see it happen up here soon.

Sorry guys

heya virus, sorry to hear you wont be able to make it. :(

I'm suprised there aren't more "locals" signed up for this.... Are you holding them hostage over there Colin? :eyebrow: what gives?

Been wondering that myself. I chose Ft Lauderdale as the first place to do the class since so many people showed interest and were from there, but most of the people signed up are from everywhere but there! Go Fig!!

odd aye!

I look forward to something up this way. Although there are no shore dives, our boat rides our are much longer and our dives are deeper, our reefs awesome. I'm sure we can get enough interest out of St. A and Jax to get it going. If we ran short, I could get our LDS to post the info to get a few more divers into it.
