Me and choby had the honor of being the first divers in the water this year. Nice and cold 38deg from top to bottom

I was just there today 10/25. It was super cloudy; super windy; and cold. We had a blast!!! See you there on the 29th.

Just wondering if there were any real divers in Ohio that dive all year round? If you fit that bill, drop a line here. If you dive when it is warm out, find somewhere else to post!

I dive year round, however I travel a lot in the winters, but am always up for a dive if I am in town. Let me know if you are heading to the quarry. Blue Springs is also nice and not to far from you if you are in Deleware.

As of right now I am planning on being away from New Years, but if plans change I will be there for the polar bear pluge as well.

Plan on seeing me looking for the sump on Jan. 1. I was doing that last year!

I typically hit the quarry at least twice a month between November and March. You guys/gals from Ohio will typically see me down there around those times.

You were there? What time? I dropped by at 3:30pm and was chatting with Mike for a few hours in the office looking over some photos.

your future neighbor,
bob

We got there at 9:00 a.m., did two tanks and left around 2:30-3:00. Sorry I missed you. I'll be there on the 29th and I'm coming single, so if you're there, maybe we can get in a tank or two.

If I have the choice between 30' and a bathtub, I'll let you have the tub, I"m going for the quarry. :D

Penny, the only reason that I stayed above 30" is because someone was getting cold below the thermocline. I won't mention your name...oppps sorry. :D

wb416, it is a lot nicer diving the bath tub rather than the quarry in the buff. :11: Diving below that thermocline could get rather embarassing.

Polly, you stay at home long enough to dive local...LOL. BTW, missed you and your boyfriend at Joe's a couple of weeks ago. Totally enjoyed diving with you at BS and am looking forward to diving with you again.
You, me and the Princess..back up boys there is about to be some fun had.

With the air temps that the weather man is calling for this weekend I think I am going to be glad that I am doing the dry suit class. And can't wait to dive some really cold waters.

So you all are the crazy ones who kept me in a job last winter (and half the time beat me to the Quarry gate to wait for it to open :-/ )! I still wish i could have joined, even though I hate the cold! Have a good time this winter, maybe ill see if i can sneak in sometime!

Hey, find out when Mike isnt there and we can have a big reunion with all of us crazies and the girl that made it possible by opening the gate and taking our money.

Took whose money? How did that light tag class go :-P! Someone just needs to get into Mikes good graces and ask Mike if I can come for a visit, im willing to fill out that damn waiver and pay... just like i used to make you all do :-P!
