Thanks a lot Reef,

Ams brought up good point that I forgot. the slots for lower band are quite apart and may not fit to the slot of DSS wing (about 2.25" wide). Apeks might fit better.

DSS wings do not have slots. The cutouts are rectangle allowing for the cam bands to pass through without being disassembled.

Here is a video of someone using an Oxycheq plate with a DSS travel wing.

Thank, but the DSS's rectangular cutout is 2.25 inch wide while the plate slots seems to be wider than that so I wonder how it fit as in the video clip.

Bom,
Center to Center of the lower cam band loops on the OxyCheq plate are 3.75".

This is my video and rig. The lower band slots on the plate are slightly wider than the cutout on the wing, but it does fit. The plastic reinforcements on the plate and wing do get pushed but it hasn't been a problem. The Apeks slots do look to be in a better position and the additional holes on the perimeter of the plate could be used to mount things. Whether or not that is worth the extra cost is up to you.

The whole setup is a pleasure to travel with. I did add a crotch strap to keep everything more secure/not ride up and tri-glides to keep the shoulder harness section from being pulled too tight. Diving with a soft plate does feel different. It's basically a tank strapped directly to your back. The rig is minimalist, it feels and dives like that. I like it.
