Question About Wetsuit with Built-In Hood

The drysuit hood is a poor option for wet diving as it does a poor job of sealing the neck opening.

An integrated hood is said to be very warm but you need to be of the right build to fit the pattern, litterally head to toe.

My overall preference is a hooded vest either chicken cut or step-in.

I have peeled the hood of a hooded vest back on occasion near the end of a dive. As a practice would add a little drag and could snare something in the wrong situation.
