I've never been to Koh Tao, so I've no opinion on the matter. Is it really as bad as they say? Are there so many zero to heros around selling their arses that the ladyboys don't get a look in?

i think this is the most pertinent post on this thread so far.

i always wondered how the fisherman pants/dreadlock zero to heroes funded their habits, and i think you're right.

I thought the CMAS had it's origins from France and not Germany. The French stole the "aqualung" idea from an Aussie and then had it known to the world that they invented it!
The poor Aussie never got any real credit (or money) from it at all.
Another good reason to stay away from the French...
