of note, if you use a lot of 18650's, you may want to get a 14500 lithium rechargeable since it can be in the same charger at the same time. Small benefit if you travel a lot so you don't have to bring a dedicated charger and/or have to do 2x charging cycles since most chargers will recognize nimh and liion automatically.
This is the best option IMO. Followed by Enloops. I don't know why people waste money on SAFTS plus its horrible for the environment. I have had really gook luck with Orbtronic batteries 14500 Battery 1100mAh Protected 3.7V Li-ion Rechargeable Cell Button Top you also do not have to play the game of how much longer will my SAFT last on yellow/red so I can get my full moneys worth out of it. With rechargeable you just charge it when its 50% then you never ever have to wonder or worry about dead batteries.
I think as divers we have a responsibility to put in a little more effort in to be environmentally conscious. I find it hard to believe that as divers people are still using one time disposable batteries. There is only one planet.
