Any companies out there making regs with good warranties/"parts for life" programs that are still good *outside* the US/Canada?

Worldwide, who's got less expensive parts? Easy ones to get ahold of?

What's easy to service? What's easy to find a shop that services them, where you live/dive?

If you're a bit technically inclined, what can you do yourself, and what qualifications/tools (ie: "this magic wrench that doesn't fit anything else on the planet and is issued exclusively to our brand's authorized technicians") do you need?

I don't want to end up somewhere for an extended vacation and find that nobody can deal with a freeflowing Oceanic, or that I have to make a choice between having a Mares fixed or having food for the next week!
