Another very nice compilation that GoPro Quik put together of my dives on Lapatas on 9/14/25.

Good gravy….Mrs Blay’s boy used to be such a polite altar boy. Now he listens to that loud music, wears a hoodie and big gold chains in the summer, and wears his pants about 12” below his waistline.

it shows 720 k as the max for me from youtube?

FYI- Looks like it was uploaded to Youtube at 720p.

Confirmed it’s on my end. I found the culprit. It’s the software I used to colorize the video. It reduces the resolution & FPS. I had not noticed that, so thank you!

I have a different tool to use to color adjust my videos I’m going to try in the future. Just tested one and it retains the 4k and 60 FPS that I shoot in.

I dove out Riviera Beach today. We went north to the Princess Anne. Vis was 70ft. At 80ft, there was a slight thermocline, dropping the temp to 82. Moderate north current. Saw 2 hawksbill turtles, a Goliath Grouper, a reef shark, nurse shark, and shot some fish.

We went north to Black Rock and took turns following that line up. Vis was 100ft, top to bottom plus some. Moderate NW current.

Now the storm moves in and this intel is worthless :)

We still love all dive conditions reports and thank you for the update !!

Folks on the Starfish today got spooked by the deteriorating weather forecast and shifted their 10:00am booking to another day. Chris called and offered a refund or charter credit. I took the credit. The day wasn’t a loss because I mapped out a local European coffee shop / bakery (critical diver task), marina parking and got to take a long look at the Starfish vessel.

Matt from ScubaTyme (SFDH) in the next slip over motored out with 4-6 divers around 08:30. I had already committed to swapping out the strap on my BP. I could’ve hustled to make ropes off but I didn’t feel like breaking a sweat. Probably just lazy, TBH.

Stopped by PVD on the way home to top off my HP100 TS. I’m digging the amount of gas that provides. I’m assuming after I get C1 qualified and experienced, a set of HP130s is going to totally blow my mind.

Headed home in plenty of time to bless my daughter’s posters she and one of the Forwards are making for the start of her HS soccer season.
