Wind and waves cancelled PVD’s technical boat today. I pondered jumping on a Kyalami trip to empty the two new (to me) HP100s I bought yesterday so I can twin them but decided to head home instead. My cargo van wandered quite a bit from crosswinds while headed north on the turnpike.

Your battery consumption is really low for 2 dives.

It was just a recreational dive with a good current so I used the DPV to cut across the current. For the most part I just kicked if I wanted to get ahead of the main body and if I wanted to get linked up with them just hovered against the current at ~50 Watts until they closed on me. A few times I powered against the current. The full power of the G3.1 is impressive but I'm more keen to find the sweet spot of efficiency at lower power consumption (for maximum range) in preparation for some shore-to-wreck dives with @VsubT .

Slight to moderate north current with what looks like 50 ft vis blue on top, no vis yet. 1-2 ft ground swell out of northeast 60 or 70 foot fizz and warm and finally found a few lobsters in Lionfish

it shows 720 k as the max for me from youtube? Perhaps it is my end?

I think so. It will adjust based upon various factors and your YouTube settings on your device.

I just upload my videos, I don’t set a lower resolution. All my video is shot in 4K put I don’t believe a standard free YouTube account supports 4K.

For future videos I’ll pay attention to the quality I am exporting out of Quik. Typically I just use the defaults. That may have something to do with it as well.
