PADI 2010 Divemaster Crew Pak

Looks like PADI has a new crew pack for the divemaster course. From what I've read online, it appears that the 2010 pack now has an instructor manual included instead of the DM-led programs CD-ROM. I'm planning to do my DM course this year and want to get the books so that I can get a little studying in ahead of time. Can anyone provide more details. I want to be sure to get the right materials. Thanks!

True. The DM crewpack now includes the instructors manual which has a decal. This decal will be required to be affixed on all DM applications submitted after July 1st. Having the complete instructors' manual will allow DMs to be familiar with the standards of all classes they will be supporting, not just the DM-led programs.

The instructor's crewpack will no longer include the instructor's manual, but will contain the specialty instructor's manual instead.

Don't forget to get the Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving, great reference for the Physics and Physiology.

What is the cost for DM? (I am MSD now, meaning I have Rescue class done and 5 specialties and paid for it.)

How much is the crew pack (w/o Encyclopedia as I have it) and how much is the class?

The PADI Pro web site list's the Crew Pak package with
everything at $207.50.

That's just the classroom material, and the price is at
cost to the Instructor.

Plus, everything else...

Great information guys. It will probably be a little confusing to people for a while now that all the materials are switched around. I do like the new system, though. I already have DM candidates who are takingg the theory part of the DM course online.

There is no online course for DM there is a online version for getting some of your IDC done before your classroom stuff. This is not the case with the DM course at this time.
