Bruno has his birthday in July and Bruno's Dive Shop is offering two-for-one Open Water Courses throughout the month (actually, as long as you purchase the course materials in July you can take the course whenever you want). This means that two people can get certified for $350. This includes everything with the exception of mask, snorkel & fins, which must be purchased prior to pool session two and costs of getting to and into Monroe Quarry. The second person on the course must also purchase their own log book and c-card but costs here are minimal.
This is really a great deal. Bruno has just recently put the finishing touches to his new pool and so courses are scheduled around you - weekdays, evenings, weekends and combinations are all workable. Bruno is SSI Instructor Trainer #8 and his dive shop has been in the same location for over 30 years. If you're looking to take a course this summer or know anyone in the Michigan area who is, then point them in this direction.
