It was a chilly low of 12 this morning, and got up to a high of 23. . . (uh, that's in degrees Celsius).

Y'all have my sincerest sympathies. . .

12C = 53F.

My pool was frozen. Still is. I am in South Carolina, dammit. I don't even own a real pair of shoes... Just flipflops and Keens... And a couple of pairs of dress shoes.

Kinda worried about the plumbing on my pool now. I've let it run all week to keep it liquid (I can't wait to see THAT electric bill), but I forgot to turn it on last night.

Hm.

Hopefully as it warms back up later this week everything will return to normal... And maybe this summer the bugs won't be so bad.

I was at the park yesterday and the attendant had about 15 Iguanas that were comatose because of the cold. He was trying to warm them up with a space heater

OMG, I am NOT feeling any joy at your suffering! I am so freakin' cold myself . . . the AC is broken, and just runs and runs and runs . . . we come in and it is 67* in the room.

I have to go diving in 30 min . . . the water is 73* . . . Thank God for 7mm and hood! I always need some[-]body[/-]thing to keep me warm . . .

Since the hubby is working today, I'll catch up on my trip report.
