Atom 2.0 and Oceanlog problems
Hi I am using your Oceanlog software ver. 2.1.5 build 09.28.07 with an Atom 2.0 firmware rev. 3C and have a few issues:
Under gear when I enter my weight as 4.0kg and navigate across dives, my weights are displayed as anything between 3.1 and 3.9kg, but never 4.0kg as entered.
On my ATOM 2.0 one dive depth displays as 19.0m, but the Oceanlog software displays 18.8 - which is correct?
When entering photos into the Oceanlog software, occassionally the software doesn't save the pictures and I have to start again - very frustrating.
Please add functionality to add multiple photos simultaneously as adding 20-30 photos - one at a time is very frustrating.
Adding photos to dives makes navigating between dives incredibly slow, even when not viewing the photos - only dive details. Please add indexing to your database and don't load the photos until the user actually selects the Photo Album tab.
The reports available in the Oceanlog program are not very useful. Please add one that looks like a PADI log page as that could then be used in a hard-copy log book for those occasions when I'm required to produce my log book or to get signatures of dm's or buddies that I don't normally dive with.
None of the existing reports prints the photographs.
The Oceanlog software changes the default printer set up on my pc.
Why can I not get my start and end pressures from my Atom 2.0 log without downloading the dive data first?
The Oceanlog software needs a print preview function.
How are you calculating the SAC Rate? Whatever formula I use to calculate the SAC Rate differs from your number.
In the Oceanlog Dive Details page, the Elapsed Dive Time column should display seconds as well.
The Elapsed Dive Time graph says a VARI of >9mpm is "Too Fast". The VARI should only be too fast when ascending at >18mpm, not 9mpm.
On the Dive Computer screen, the Transmitter 2-3 ON checkboxes are always checked, regardless of the actual transmitter setting on the Atom 2.0 (try downloading the settings with one set off on the Atom 2.0). When uploading the settings, it always turns both transmitters on.
On the Location screen, temperatures are either all the same, or the first two (Air and Surface) are .0.
On the History screen, there are fields for Best Visibility and Worst Visibility, but there are no fields on the Dive screen to enter visibility.
On the History screen, the Gas Consumed, Best and Worst SAC fields are always blank.
When I use the "Restore Database" menu item, I get a message that the database is in use.
All this after only a week of use.
