If you have a DVT first stage you will want to be sure the new cap doesn't press on the valve.

philmayer:Oceanic made the cap that way to accomodate both yoke and din regs. Some of their regulators are available both ways.
If you have a first stage with DVT, don't worry about water drops, just blow the big ones out and you're fine.
I'm pretty sure they recommend leaving the cap on whenever the reg is not on a tank.

Just push dust cap over the DIN.
I personally wouldn't trust it to keep water out of the first stage while rinsing when used this way on a DIN reg.
keyshunter:In a true din cap, the din face o-ring bottoms on a flat inside the cap.
