November in Cozumel

Okay, I am having a heck of a time trying to concentrate at work knowing we are leaving this Sat. Anyone have suggestions on how to make it through the next agonizing 4 days until we arrive? Do you mentally check out before you have even left for Cozumel or is it just me?

I've got two huge projects to finish at the gig, and all I can think about is 80 degree water, 100 ft vis and a cold one (or two) after a 4 dive day....

We are having a blast in Coz! Last day of diving today . It's been a great trip. Got blew out by a norte on Sunday, but we snuck in a 2 tank afternoon dive after we arrived on Saturday. 4 dives on Monday, 2 dives yesterday, and 2 today. Diving with Deep Blue. I have to say the Hotel Barracuda has been a pleasant surprise. Wonderful oceanfront views, fridge in the room, Mega across the street, walking distance to town, and a dock for pickup. And we only paid $46.00/night including tax (thanks Loudives!). Met some fun divers from Denmark at the No Name Bar last night. The bar/pool area will be hopping today, there are a ton of cruise ships in port today. The No Name Bar caters to the cruise ship crews.

Saw a ton of lionfish at Maracaibo yesterday. I counted 13 in one spot.

Gotta go diving!
