so true with the tourism. Senador Gordon had a great thing going then they pushed him out. Bunch of monkeys running this damn country.

just check out our marketing campaigns? SUCKS!!! we are being overtaken exponentially by Thailand, malaysia, indonesia and even india. Check out their commercials on tv and cnn. they spend big and get 1000 fold in terms of tourists. check out our commercials? low budget and its depressing.

thailand gets 13,000,000 tourists a year inspite of the tsunami, Indonesia gets half that inspite of the Bali bombing. we are hitting almost 2 million. very disturbing.

i agree PI tourism sucks. Bad terrorism media from a few years back. Its all bs but what can you do? Talk to any american diver and they are all scared ****less of the PI but will gladly go to Bali or wherever. Drives me freakin nuts cuz i push PI so hard yet people go "OOOO i can't go there! Terrorists!" i have had PI stories rejected by US mags because Americans don't want to advertise it. Pisses me right off!!!!!!!!!!!

indonesia is the most populated muslim country in the world and thge emerging hotbed of radical muslim terrorists. after the bali bombing incident, bali looks business as usual. in the Philippines we get a couple of kidnappings in muslim mindanao yet it freaking tainst the whole country as a terrorist haven. it sucks and its pissing me off. The P.I. is one of the safest most beautiful countries in asia. people are friendly, we speak english and have great tourism. its sad how some small sporadic events can taint the image of such a beautiful, tourist freindly country.

I couldn't agree more. Seems to affect more the US crowd rather than the Euros.
