US airlines have gotten pretty cheap. Understandably some of the add-ons do cost, and they look to cut costs (you know, except in management and executive pay) but I'm certainly not going to pay $5 for some pathetic snack box. On another flight they were proud to announce they'd partnered with TGI Fridays (I think...or was it Bennigans?) for the inflight meal if you wanted to cough up $10 for it. No thanks.
