I fill a 88ft carbon fiber tank at 4500 psi for recharging my PreCharged Air Rifles I need to verify that this is a Purus-H and that model can make it to 4500psi fills with no problems. Can anyone tell me what the extra electrical addons are for I'm guessing auto shut off. Next question what's the Maintance schedule for these units it has 880 hours showing on the hobbs meter it was in a fire dept.

Since I can not post url yet please look

sorry that did not work either

The Purus H was not designed to operate at that pressure.

I believe 3800 was the max rating. It may well do 5000 psi, but Bauer never intended it for that pressure. The safety on that Triplex tower is probably set for 225 bar and would have to be adjusted for higher working pressures.

OK. talked to Bauer 4500psi is a go, I'm still wondering about 880 hours on the hobbs meter what wears out first and when?
I'm paying a Grand even for the compressor I could pump some in for Maintenance and serving just need an idea on potential costs.

I hate to say this in public, but Craig knows more about Bauer machines than the guys on the phone at Bauer. He has been working with them for YEARS while the guys in the sales office are quite often working off a cheat sheet.

I talked with my Bauer service guy and he suggested not going more than about 3500. While it may get to 4500, you will end up spending a LOT more than your original $1000 to replace parts when it breaks down.
