I think I had her figured out when she made the comparison with Park Avenue. A spoiled city girl who, sadly, will never know the truely wonderful things in life, no matter where she goes. Her loss.

Actually, what really drove me nuts was that the article was given to me by a friend when I returned from Bonaire. (let me make one absolutely clear - I do not read the NY Post). He was amazed that I had enjoyed myself on the island. I had to explain to him just how gorgeous and great a place is Bonaire.

The only thing that she said that made any sense was the reference to the girl that disappeared. I heard from many locals that she "deserved what she got" and many comments of that kind.

Come on folks, it IS Cindy Adams we are talking about.

She's a gossip columnist for crying out loud! It's not like she's writing a travel column. If you read it in that light as coming from a high society type it's actually kinda funny.

Standard X-Gen pap. Make yourself big by belittling others.
Round-file material.

"A diver's paradise, but no Park Avenue."

What part of this do you disagree with?

Interesting how folks perceive the same article.
When I read it I thought "Hot dam!
A place with great diving that obnoxious Yankees hate!
Nothing - nothing could make a place more pleasant than their absence.
I'm on my way!"

I didnt know she was still alive and could care if she chops her head off or not never mind her opinions of Bonaire
