What size wetsuit are you looking for? I have a Scubapro 7mil S-tech semi-dry in XXL. It has 4 dives on it in Lake Superior before I was able to find a heck of a deal on a custom cut Andy's drysuit, to bad Andy's is no longer in business. I will also have some additional gear for sale at the Meet & Greet including an XL Seaquest Balance in like new condition. I will also have a set of Andy's drysuit undies for sale as well, can't remeber the weight but they are very heavy. Before you ask these were not "Andy's" personnel undies. These have very little use as well since they were a bit to bulky and warm for my taste.

I will probably need a large wet suit. Let me know if you will have any Larges at the M&G.

I was just looking at some 200 weight online I think now I will wait until april John and check the ones you have.. were about the same height just different waist size. I will have some extra room in them. Bring them we will see if they work and I will look around and see what the going rate is for used Andy's undies are.

Hey everybody more bait...ummm I mean more new divers to introduce to the trout at Gilboa! ;)

Looking forward to meeting you two! Hey Brutus, I'm running some check-out dives April 1-2 at Gilboa if any of my students want to go--I've had some interest. If your instructor would like to share my 10x10 EZ-Up tent you're more than welcome. I have a couple small heaters that keep the worst of the chill off for the surface interval.

That would be great I'll see my instructor Tuesday or Wed. the group I got mycerts with is really close and goes to happy hour every tuesday or wed. I have a feeling he's gonna do his best to avoild anything that sounds like cold.

The water is going to be cold but if he keeps the dives under 25 minutes you guys will be fine. A gallon of warm water dumped into your wetsuit right before you step in the water does wonders for helping you stay warm on the dive. That tent does a good job of keeping you from freezing during the surface interval, that's something a lot of instructors around here are really concerned about. Most of my students this quarter turned down a trip to the Florida springs to do Ohio check-outs in April--did I mention I teach crazy people to dive ;) I do have one who wants to wait for the water to warm up but the rest are game for 45 degree water in a wetsuit. It will be fun, you guys should join us!

LOL I used to do that, I'm diving dry now--it's the students who are crazy. The Florida trip was $75 plus they pay for their own entry fees and air fills for 3 days. Some of my friends have offered to house and feed them to keep the cost down, only 3 are coming down with me, 8 said they would rather certify in Ohio in April and 1 said he wants to certify in Ohio later in the summer. I work really hard to keep them comfortable and the students always seem to have a good time. I mean, warm water is nice but I prefer the cold.

There were a few fellas diving wet two weeks ago at Gilboa--my computer showed 38 ave temp. The air was much colder...the water on our drysuits/gear froze. Those guys had to be miserable...they only did one dive. Brrrr...they're much bolder than I.
