I dive hog d3’s and my students use hog d1x’s regularly at gilboa.
I have had both below 200’, under ice, in strong current and in dang near mud pits over the past several years. They are about the best bang for your buck regulator i have found.
Thanks, I just started using the HOG and I really like it. I was just a bit unsure how it would handle the cold.
