What about HOG regulators?
I dive hog d3’s and my students use hog d1x’s regularly at gilboa.
I have had both below 200’, under ice, in strong current and in dang near mud pits over the past several years. They are about the best bang for your buck regulator i have found.

Thanks, I just started using the HOG and I really like it. I was just a bit unsure how it would handle the cold.

I have two G260s and a Mk 25 evo. I would think that would work correct?

Mk 25 not sealed but thought it would work for ohio quarries in summer time.

I have used a Mk 25 and a Mk 20 diving doubles in both quarries between March and December and never had an issue. Although if you're diving single tank and you have to donate a reg, there's a greater chance of a free flow.

I just saw this. I dove Gilboa and White Star in a 7mm plus a 5/3 hooded vest plus gloves for the first few years diving there before I got a drysuit. You won't be too warm.

I got a great quote on a Bare 7mm suit, hood, gloves and SP boots. Looks like a really nice setup. And much cheaper than the NovaScotia.
