Heck, I'm even up for those.. dives off Reef Runway.
lol.. blah! me and bcyber have dived THE Diner soooo many times..
and seen hundreds of eels on every dive there..
we hardly even bother taking photos of 'em anymore :eyebrow:

as for Reef Runway..
well, it's .39 miles from (as Lonnie dubbed) the "Port Royal Reef".
me and DaveB "bcyber" visited the site Presidents' Day..

ah, you don't have to rub it in......I'm going to try a mid may trip, we PCS to Mtn. Home in June! But I'll definitely plan Nov, after Elk season...........Still be there so's I can steal your boat?.......
This being dry stuff is for the birds, I haven't dove since Vortoberfest in Fl. Might have to convince the bride to retire in Palau.....

Fisboy, Coz in NOV...????

Sure... If you can convince our 'Uncle' to let me out of my 6-month trip...

Not a surprise... it is called Reef Runway

nah.. not the navy..
that's how some expose lobsters now..
tie-off to a reef.. then fire-wall the throttle..
ta-da! ton-o-lobsters in the open!

j/k btw..

All part of the stimulus package.

-dry dock jobs
-environmental jobs
-keep the navy divers busy
-lobster industry
-sun deck under the microwave antenna
-4-wheeler trails around the main deck and up the sloped superstructure
-etc. etc.

:D

The same Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit 1 that got the Port Royal off the reef is getting decommission.

Navy will decommission Isle diving, salvage unit | HonoluluAdvertiser.com | The Honolulu Advertiser

Which is bad for divers since we are losing a recompression chamber.
