FTR never once had to flip the vane on any G250Vs I made and sold. Everyone would free flow, I only used .216 springs.

I kept the clip out and went a little passed the stop.Yes, I too have noticed the variation, of cracking effort, if knob if all the way out or just a fraction in. Seems a fraction in nets best result.
