I know this as per manual screen shot I posted. I'll try it with the .216 non free flowing reg. When using .218 springs flipping it made no difference to either G250V, they still would not feel flow.

Awww right. Mine that Rob setup free flows with the vane set up for Max, not sure what spring he used.
 
For rental gear as rsingler pointed out. To make it less likely to free flow. I would try flipping it around and try again. I’ll flip my eBay 250 toward the diaphragm to see if it will free flow and report back.

So your flow vane has cut out piece when on max, i.e no little dot?

Can an original purchaser of one of my run of G250Vs look and tell me if crescent is present or not. Thank you.

I have a niggling feeling they had no cut out.
