I really hate that, it isn't like they don't know what Medicare will reimburse.

Throughout my cancer only at Moffitt did the bills and reimbursement were even close, like 20% off IIRC.
They paid only %15!

but I don't guess you have one.
I'm not sure which one to buy, Don.

I see, well there are many choices. I prefer a Supplement over any Advantage plan. I'm on the N plan and all companies offer it and pay the same portions of what Medicare pays, but you may prefer another plan. Now that you've had recent surgeries, you may encounter resistance. Happy shopping.

I had a swollenish tongue and sore throat, so I went to the Doc, yesterday. The symptoms were mostly gone, but I still went. I lost another 3 pounds and have Covid. Meh. At least this morning's test is negative. My Doc predicted that, since almost all my symptoms were gone. One more negative test tomorrow and I'll be free to socialize again.

Don't give it to the cats.
I got entrapped watching the first season of Troppo on Prime last night and went to bed late. I was stunned to see Olaf already in my bed and sleeping in my spot. My spot! I stopped to pet Mischka first, then Tashi, and then Olaf. He's pretty intimidated when I'm standing. He allowed me to touch his punkin head, and then quickly moved away. As soon as I got into bed though, he quickly head bumped me for some pets. He's never been in bed before I got there as he doesn't like anyone between him and the door to his freedom. But there he was, and he never jumped off the bed. That was pretty cool. Instead of being totally feral, he's only about 40% feral now.

Just a side note.... Medicare Advantage plans should be renamed Medicare DISadvantage plans
I borrowed this elsewhere...

I finally got wet today. Yes, I've been cleared for over a month, but I've had concerns.

The walking distance to and from the springs.
It was not nearly as onerous as I thought it would be!
The chill from the spring water after having lost almost 60 pounds since Christmas!
The initial plunge was indeed bracing, but I acclimated quickly!
Getting out of the water!
The water was up, so getting out wasn't quite so bad!

Wow, it was so, so awesome to be weightless again. I did some stretches, swam four laps, and just chillaxed. I even met a new friend and possible dive buddy, Chris. I kicked down into the crevasse and then finger pulled myself down to the bottom. It was fun, exhilarating and chillaxing. I took an outside shower (bathing suit on) and remembered how soft my hair becomes after being soaked in spring water for an hour.

So, my current feeling is that this needs to become my 8 o'clock deal at least five days a week. I have no stamina. I did only one half-lap in a crawl. Not only was I slow AF, but I was nigh on exhausted. Breaststroke with/without kicking comprised the other 3 1/2 laps. Humble beginnings indeed, but I'm committed. The best aspect to this kind of exercise is that I never ever break a sweat. I hate sweating. I really, really hate sweating. I might need to get some resistance gear for a water workout. I own a year-long Florida Park pass, so I might as well use it!

Did I mention how soft my hair is after soaking in spring water for an hour or more? Who needs a conditioner? :D :D :D
