The navy approves Poseidon's for use in ice diving, so I'm not suprised by your comment. If I go to Svalbard, looks like I'll need a Poseidon or Apeks sealed 1st stage and an ice-dedicated 2nd stage as well.

I like the atomics better than the apeks due to the breathing quality but apeks are a very good cold water regs i have them on my stage bottles and they work fine i sold my poseidons they just breathed so bad in shallow waters

90% of my ice dives have been done with the atomic M1 best combination for tech,deep,ice diving
