the MK-17 is externally adjustable for IP. Its done by the hex key socket under the black cap......

The Mk17 is externally adjustable by an authorized technician, at the time of service. Once the regulator is sealed, that adjustment is no longer accessible.

Hm.. Ok.. Just want to clarify. Is this "sealed" means the black cap sealing the reg?

With mk25, if my understanding correct, we can just open the cap and then adjust it. Is it the same with mk17?

Is it the same way like mk25? We can open the black cap anytime?

Oh okay guys. I have little knowledge in environmentally sealer regulator, is this sealed means that we can't open it anytime we want to make adjustment on land?

No, you can't just take the black cap off and adjust it. There's a silicone diaphragm and a piston held in by a retaining ring blocking access.

Why do you think you need to adjust the IP?

Thanks James. Now that's explain my confusion...

There's no scenario yet where they need to adjust IP. Just looking for clarification...

Thanks for answering my question.
