I'm just a 5-jump-chump. I'm just thankful I didn't land in the trees.

It's cool, at least your not a LEG. Better to have jumped then not have jumped at all, they say it is better than ***(you know, edited) have yet to decide that.

He said that dirty "L" word!!!!!!

The Army is cheap and won't send CSS officers to Airborne school unless they are going to an Airborne unit. That makes me a leg too. :(

Hey, my dad (ex-Navy in a certain Southeast Asia war) always gave me stuff about being crazy enough to volunteer to serve on a ship that I knew was going to sink. I'll be honest, the only way that I am jumping out of a plane is if that thing is on fire.

I may be crazy, but I am not that far gone.....

I did a second tour in Viet Nam so I wouldn't have to face the possibility of becoming and instructor pilot.

To me the guys with the biggest balls in the world were the U.S. Army primary helicopter instructor pilots. It takes a pair to sit there while a fledgling pilot with about 12 hours flying time does a to-the-ground autorotation. Several got killed like that.

LOL, we have a guy in our Marine Corps League Det whose last name is "Sir".
Imagine going through Parris Island with that last name ..... ouch!

U-ncle
S-ams
M-isguided
C-hildren
Oorah

I had a DI at Parris Island with the last name of Major, and he was a Sgt. Guess he got some grief for that from the real Sgt Maj's out there.

I used to have a list of 'actual' entries on maintenance tags. Here's a couple I remember off the top of my head:

Pilot entry: Something loose in cockpit.
Maintenance response: Tightened something in cockpit.

Pilot entry: Nose tire almost needs replacing.
Maintenance response: Almost replaced nose tire.

here is one that got me some extras No sense of HA Ha these Pilots Have:

Maintenance Report: A/C Seat will not go down

Technician Report: Seat Actuator Ground Checked Serviceable. Seat Goes Up and Goes Down, Pilot Replaced
