This is really not a DIR question per se, but I'd like to hear a DIR response to it.
Since a great proportion of my upcoming diving will be in springs, and since I generally get cold fairly easily, I will be wearing a hood on my dives. This will be new to me. In looking at some photos and video, it appears that divers tend to wear the mask outside the hood.
MY quesiton is this. Is there anything fundamentally wrong with wearin the mask INSIDE the hood? It seems to me, this would be advantageos for several reasons, including providing a more streamlined profile to the water, and for reducing risks of a lost mask due to current, being finned in the face, or other reasons.
I can't really seem to pinpoint any reasons why this would NOT be a good idea, so I am bringing the question to those with a lot of experience.
Thanks in advance for your responses.
