Hi, I really need some help with this. Due to a recurrent perf in my left ear, I'm going to try diving with the IST ProEar mask, this: IST Diving System :: RECREATIONAL :: MASKS :: Pro Ear Mask

I have tried the mask in the pool and, although the mask itself had a decent seal, the ear cups were not as sealed. I've read that wearing a hood might help with this but I've tried a couple of XL hoods (ScubaPro etc) and I can't even begin to get the hood over my head with the mask on. Putting the hood on first also doesn't work.

I would really appreciate (a) any tips re the hood issue, and (b) any other general tips re using the ProEars mask.

Many, many thanks.
